Malaga, August 8th 2024 - 36 Square Capital has taken the opportunity today to reinforce the positions of its holdings on Porsche (automotive), Kering (luxury) and added a new position with Ambev (brewery/drinks).
At the same time 36 Square Capital decided to fully liquidate the 3M position existing since 2.25 years exactly with a +25,41% after-tax gain over the period. The reason for selling the 3M position was the low 2.66% dividend yield after tax with the current market possibilities of allocating the gains and the freed up cash into higher yielding dividend stocks with great balance sheets but also cost average existing positions in our portfolio.
In the current portfolio dated August 8th 2024, Kering is now the 3rd largest holding accounting for 11,71% of the portfolio and Porsche the 4th largest holding representing 10,62% of the portfolio.
The newcomer Ambev represents a 4,54% stake in the portfolio.
